The 2 days / 1 night Fez to Marrakesh & Merzouga desert trip our team will take you to discover and explore the south of Morocco through the high Atlas Mountains with Berber villages, Kasbahs, Gorges, Grand Canyon, Palm Groves, camel trekking in the Sahara desert, Middle Atlas Mountains, monkeys climbing in Cedar forest and then Ifran the Moroccan Switzerland city.
Our driver will pick up for your Hotel / Riad in Fez and start our tour Leaving Fez and going to Sahara desert, passing through Ifrane to arrive at the cedar forests of Azrou where the wild monkeys are located. It will be good opportunity to take photos of wilderness in Morocco. We continue the way through the Middle Atlas Mountains enjoying the landscapes to arrive at the small town of Midelt where we’ll stop for lunch, and then to Ziz Valley, And then continue to the Sahara desert Merzouga, after relaxing few. You’ll ride the camels to spend the night in the desert. Night in Berber nomad tents.
Depart after breakfast to start the journey to Ait Ben hadou Kasbah, which belonged to the Glaoui family, the Pashas of Marrakesh, it’s the most famous Kasbah in Morocco and a UNESCO World Heritage site. It is also well-known as being the backdrop to many Hollywood blockbusters. The last part of the day’s journey is across the high Atlas Mountains and its spectacular Jurassic geography. There will be a lunch stop and time for photographs on the way. We reach Marrakesh at the end of the afternoon.
